Stage Car 3

The StageCar Series (8m and 9m Mobile Staging)

The StageCar stages are the smallest of our mobile fleet. These stages represent a cost effective mobile staging solution for small scale events or can be used as part of a collection of multiple stages.

StageCar III:

The StageCar III measures at 8m wide by 6m deep with an internal height of 3.5m. We currently have two of this size in our range.

The StageCar III can also be used as a wheelchair user platform, front of house position or a mobile space.

StageCar 2000:

The dimensions of this slightly larger stage are 9m wide by 7m deep. The internal height from the stage floor to the roof is 4.5m and we have two stages of this size.

All stages within the StageCar Series (8m and 9m) offer the option of using PA wings which measure at 2.5m per side.

What audience size is this stage suitable for?

As a guideline, we recommend that the StageCar stages are suitable for audience sizes up to a maximum of 4,000 people.

How long does it take to build?

The build/de-rig time for the StageCar III is around 1 – 2 hours, requiring 2 crew (provided by us).
As the StageCar 2000 is slightly larger, you will need to allow between 2-3 hours and 3 crew are needed to complete this.

What’s included?

Both stages include the following equipment:

  • One set of access steps and full handrails
  • Pre-rigged Points for flown truss.

What do you need to supply?

  • Space on site for all SEGL/SRC vehicles unless nearby parking has been arranged.
  • A secure working environment for the stage & crew, including 24 hour security.
  • Suitable means of access for the stage on to site: if wet weather is predicted, we recommend that Trakway or similar is installed to avoid any vehicles becoming stuck.
  • Crew access to water, toilet facilities and hot drinks.

Banners

Our crew will be more than happy to fit any banners that you have had made for the stage, however please take into consideration that this may slightly increase the build time.
You can download banner dimensions for these stages here.

Our Standby Policy

One crew member will remain on site with you for the duration of your event as part of our company standby policy (recommended by the HSE & the Institution of Structural Engineers). You will also have the use of our 24 hour standby manager service which ensures that you have contact with our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should you need any assistance. This is included at no extra cost in our dedicated service to you.

Optional Extra’s

In order to offer you a ‘one stop shop facility’ we can also provide a selection of decks & risers (including rolling), front of stage barrier and cable ramp for your event. Certain amounts of this equipment can travel in the stage which will save you additional transport costs.
