15m Morbit with PA

Morbit™ Mobile Stages

Available in 15m x 12m and 13m x 10m sizes.

The Morbit™ or ‘mobile-orbit’ design combines the advantages of the mobile stage floor system with the visual appeal and structural strength of the Orbit Flexidome® roof.

Our 13m Morbit™ was launched in 2006, and is the popular choice for events which require the appearance of a ‘domed’ stage. The quick install process is perfect for time conscious venues and tight budgets.
Due to the success of the 13m version, we designed and built a larger 15m stage on our premises using the expertise of our design team and mobile stage engineers. This stage was launched for the 2008 season.

The main advantage of using these stages is that they have in built cranes which are positioned at each end of the trailer. The innovative design of the Morbit™ concept allows the cranes to build the stage which means that you do not need to hire a forklift, which of course saves you time and money! Once the stage is fully constructed, the cranes can then be used to fly the PA.

Key specifications

The 15.0m wide by 12.0m deep stage can fly 2,000 kgs of PA per side. The 13m x 10m version can fly 1,000 kgs of PA per side.
Side 'shed' production areas are available for the 15m version.
The internal height from the stage floor to the roof is 7.7m on the 15m version and 4.8m on the 13m version.
In orchestral format, the 15m version can accommodate 130 musicians with music stands whilst the 13m version can hold about 85.

What audience sizes are these stages suitable for?

As a guideline, we recommend that this 13m stage is suitable for audiences of between 4,000 – 10,000 people whilst the 15m version works well from 6,000 to 15,000 .
