15m 2 Bay Orbit Stage

15m 2 bay Orbit Flexidome® stage system

The mid range standard Orbit style that we offer as part of our set packages.

The stage dimensions are an overall footprint of 21.8m x 17.8m (72’ x 58’) as a standard minimum and you can increase the depth in 3.0m (10’) increments by adding in additional roof bays, providing ample room for most acts or medium sized orchestra’s. PA and screen support systems can be provided enabling full scale production capabilities.

Internal height from the stage floor to the roof apex is 5.73m (18’).


What audience size is this stage suitable for?

As a guideline, we recommend that this stage is suitable for audiences of between 5,000 – 15,000 people.


How long does it take to build?

The build / de-rig time for the 15m Orbit is a minimum of 2 x 12 hour shifts of 7 crew to install and 1 x 12 hour shift of 7 crew to de-rig.

  • Stage Deck Height – 1.5m (5') with phenolic non-slip surface.
  • Overall footprint – 21.8m x 17.8m (72’ x 58’)
  • Internal Dimensions –14.9m x 16.0m (50’ x 52’)
  • Internal Area (including Side sheds) – 235m² (775sqft)
  • Internal Trim height –5.73m (18’) at apex.
  • Maximum rigging load per roof arch - 3000 kg UDL
  • Proscenium Arch downstage cover with max load 1250kg UDL
  • Covered side sheds SL & SR – 3.0m x 2.5m (10’ x 8’)
  • Single Mast PA Towers –hanging point 6.64m (22’) above stage height with front and rear points for Line Array systems. Overall permissible load 1900kg per Tower.
  • 01 - 5.0m x 5.0m (16’ x 16’) FOH deck split at 0.5m & 1.0m
  • 01 - Set of access steps with handrails
  • 01 - Access ramp with handrails and non slip surface.
  • 01 - Anemometer (Wind speed monitor system)

Structures

What do you need to supply?

  • Space on site for all SEGL vehicles unless nearby parking has been arranged.
  • A secure working environment for the stage & crew, including 24 hour security.
  • Suitable means of access for the stage on to site: if wet weather is predicted, we recommend that Trakway or similar is installed to avoid any vehicles becoming stuck.
  • Crew access to water, toilet facilities and hot drinks.


Our Standby Policy

Two crew members will remain on site with you for the duration of your event as part of our company standby policy, one of which will be the crew boss (recommended by the HSE & the Institution of Structural Engineers). You will also have the use of our 24 hour standby manager service which ensures that you have contact with our office 24 hours a day, 7 days a week should you need any assistance. This is included at no extra cost in our dedicated service to you.


Optional Extra’s

In order to offer you a ‘one stop shop facility’ we can also provide a selection of decks & risers (including rolling), front of stage barrier and cable ramp for your event.
